Our Niagara Falls exterior projects
Ladona River Apartments and McLeod Plaza are local examples of our multifamily and retail exterior work. Ladona's confirmed installation used Sto EIFS with 3-inch EPS insulation.

Ladona River Apartments
City Plasters completed EIFS stucco installation at Ladona River Apartments in Niagara Falls, using a Sto EIFS system with 3-inch EPS insulation.
EIFS means Exterior Insulation and Finish System. EPS is expanded polystyrene, the rigid foam insulation used beneath the reinforced coating and exterior finish. This apartment project used 3-inch EPS; the thickness for another building follows its design and specified system.

McLeod Plaza
McLeod Plaza in Niagara Falls is another City Plasters commercial exterior project. The photograph shows the plaza's stucco wall finishes, storefronts and architectural bands.
Retail plaza exteriors have different requirements from a house or apartment building. The proposed work needs to account for storefront openings, signs, entrances, adjoining materials and access around operating businesses.

Plan a new insulated exterior
The wall system, insulation thickness and finish are selected for the building's requirements. A site review or drawings help establish the substrate, openings, flashings, access and architectural details. We discuss colour and texture alongside the complete assembly.
Stucco and EIFS installation details →Existing walls need a condition assessment
For an older Niagara Falls exterior, local repairs or compatible recoating may be sufficient. Cracks, loose finish and recurring damp areas require assessment before deciding to patch, recoat or replace. Exposed foundations can need a separate parging scope.
Frequently asked questions
Niagara Falls installation questions
Which City Plasters projects are in Niagara Falls?
Ladona River Apartments and McLeod Plaza are Niagara Falls project examples. City Plasters installed Sto EIFS with 3-inch EPS insulation at Ladona. McLeod Plaza shows a retail plaza exterior. These examples demonstrate different building types; the assembly and scope for a new enquiry must be reviewed separately for that property.
Do you install stucco and EIFS on Niagara Falls homes?
Yes. We review new homes, additions and existing exteriors in Niagara Falls as well as commercial enquiries. Drawings, photos and a site review help establish the substrate, insulation where included, openings, flashings and finish. A whole-house installation and a smaller dormer or addition need different preparation and access plans.
Can you repair cracked stucco or damaged EIFS in Niagara Falls?
Yes. We review cracks, impact damage, failed patches and deteriorated finishes. The existing wall system and affected layers determine the repair. Recurring cracks, staining or loose material need assessment before a cosmetic patch is chosen. Send full-wall and close-up photos with the address and any leak or repair history to start the review.
Should a Niagara Falls exterior be repaired, recoated or replaced?
Limited damage on a sound wall may suit repair; an intact faded finish may suit compatible recoating. Widespread loose material, damaged insulation or recurring moisture can require a broader scope. The wall condition matters more than appearance alone. We review preparation and underlying concerns before discussing whether a surface refresh is appropriate.
Do you provide foundation parging in Niagara Falls?
Yes. We review exposed concrete and block foundations for local parging repairs or broader re-parging. Loose finishes and old coatings may need removal so new material can bond to a suitable base. Parging does not replace basement waterproofing or structural foundation repair; active leaks and movement need their own assessment.
Can you match stucco on a Niagara Falls addition or repaired wall?
We aim for the closest practical colour and texture match, accounting for weathering and old coatings. Samples help show likely differences. Extending a finish to a corner, reveal or full elevation may create a more consistent result than a small patch. Addition interfaces also need appropriate joints, flashing and transitions beyond the colour match.

How does Niagara weather affect stucco installation and repair?
Freeze-thaw conditions, rain, wind and surface temperature affect application and curing. Water entry can worsen damaged areas, so recurring moisture symptoms deserve assessment before refinishing. The selected products determine suitable conditions and protection. We review the property and work sequence before discussing timing rather than use one seasonal rule for every installation or repair.
Can a Niagara Falls apartment or plaza remain occupied during work?
The building's access and occupancy requirements need review. Work zones, entrances, protected walkways, deliveries and parking may require phasing or temporary restrictions. Ladona River Apartments and McLeod Plaza are local project examples, but each new building needs its own plan. Share access restrictions and occupancy details with the drawings or initial project photographs.
What should I send for a Niagara Falls stucco estimate?
Send the address, overview photos or elevations, close-ups of damage, approximate wall dimensions and preferred finish. Include any prior leaks or repairs and explain access, building height and occupancy. Installation drawings and specifications are helpful when available. A site visit may be needed to confirm the existing assembly and proposed scope.
Do you serve areas outside Niagara Falls?
Yes, within the Niagara Region only. Our service-area directory includes St. Catharines, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Welland, Thorold, Fort Erie, Grimsby, Lincoln, Pelham, Port Colborne, West Lincoln and Wainfleet. It also identifies communities such as St. Davids, Fonthill, Beamsville and Smithville. Send the project address to discuss access and scheduling.
