Foundation Parging

Is exterior plaster the same as stucco?
Exterior plaster is a broad term often used for rendered or stucco wall finishes. Traditional cement stucco and insulated EIFS are different assemblies, even when their textures look similar. Can repairs and stucco painting be planned together?
Yes. Repair and coating work should be coordinated so damaged or loose areas are addressed before colour goes on. The proposed repair layers and coating must be compatible with the existing wall. Recoating a larger elevation can help unify repaired areas, although texture differences may remain visible. Recurring moisture or movement needs assessment before a finish refresh.
Is parging the right service for an exposed foundation?
Parging can suit a sound exposed concrete or block foundation needing a surface finish or repair. Loose old material and coatings need preparation. It is separate from an insulated EIFS wall assembly, basement waterproofing or structural foundation repair. Tell us whether the concern is peeling finish, a bare surface, a crack or water entry so the correct assessment can be discussed.
Do you install architectural mouldings, trims and faux wood accents?
